Overview
These are exciting and rapidly changing times for the Andy Needham Band. In the past 9 months we have transitioned to full time touring with over 160 dates in this calendar year and recorded a full length album in Nashville with GRAMMY award winner Mitch Dane that released September 25. We are grateful that God is expanding our reach and platform so quickly as we continue to seek to make much of His Name and His renown.
We believe God is very much alive and on the move in New England. If you choose to define revival or spiritual awakening as Fenway Park packed to hear Francis Chan speak and David Crowder lead worship, you will be easily disappointed, but when you get to see God’s work in our region the way we have—town-by-town, church-by-church—you get to see an amazing and powerful work of God.
When Jesus left the earth He didn’t start an event or a band, He launched the local church. We believe Scripture teaches that God’s primary means of transforming communities with the Gospel is the local church. While God is expanding our platform to new regions and larger events we want to continue to seek ways to serve small congregations. It is close to our heart because we know it is close to God’s.
With this in mind we are launching The Million Points of Light Tour. This is a perfect event of acoustic worship and encouragement from God’s Word for typical New England churches. They are designed to spur on your congregation to a life of worship.
Why the name The Million Points of Light Tour? We believe that God’s work in New England is defined not by a big event in our beloved ballpark but by the thousands of churches that cover our landscape with millions of worshipers holding high the light of Christ. Up close it can feel insignificant against the darkness, but when we see it from God’s perspective we can be encouraged!
We hope we can partner with you to advance the critical work of your church!
Event Details & Finances
The Million Points of Light Tour features the Andy Needham Band and include acoustic guitars, bass, and percussion (typically hand drums). The event lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
Obviously one of the greatest hindrances to events like this can be financial. We have great news for you. Because of our passion to serve churches of all sizes we have secured underwriting to help offset the burden of this event on smaller churches. We are asking host churches to either receive a love offering or provide a gift with a goal of $750. This is not a guarantee but a faith goal and we will not allow finances to be a hindrance to hosting this tour.
