TOUR UPDATE – JAN 7 & 8
This week and next we are recording in Nashville at Sputnik Studios. As part of our travels we had the great joy of making two stops in Virginia on the way south.
GRACE BIBLE CHURCH
Saturday night (January 7) we were hosted by Grace Bible Church in Midlothian, VA. This was one of the most gracious churches we have ever had the joy of leading. A special thanks to the Sheridans & Dunns who helped bring us to Grace Bible, to David who was a servant-hearted sound man, Brian who helped us with planning Sunday morning, and to the Wrobel family who overwhelmed us with hospitality and an amazing breakfast. We were also able to stay for Sunday morning and enjoy the fantastic preaching of Pastor Rich Ryan. He is a phenomenal preacher. We truly hope to return to spend more time with our new friends at Grace.
WYTHEVILLE
The great debate on our trip was how to pronounce Wytheville. No matter how you say it Wytheville was a blast. Shane Sledd was our host at the historic Wytheville Presbyterian Church on Sunday night (January 8). Emily, Katie, Rick and the whole crew really got the word out as nearly a dozen area churches filled the room. It was fun playing for a completely new audience and we had many great conversations after the concert.
