February – March, Camp Berea, Hebron, NH

We are back for Camp Berea’s Deep Freeze weekends, leading worship for a couple hundred students each weekend from second weekend of February through the end of March. This is an amazing camp and we love getting rowdy with our friends at Berea. For details visit berea.org

February 12, Derry, NH

Calvary Bible Church in Derry is sponsoring a “Night of Worship” featuring us and our friend Jonas Woods. This special night is a fundraiser for their missions trip to Haiti. February 19, The Hill, Hopkinton, MA

“The Hill” is our free monthly event in our home area east of Worcester, MA. We are pumped to work with a new venue for the February event which is just down the road in beautiful Hopkinton, MA. RECORDING & TOUR UPDATE

WEEK ONE @ SPUTNIK SOUND

We arrived early Monday to begin the process of recording at Sputnik Sound with Grammy Award winning producer Mitch Dane. Our first day was a learning experience as we worked translate songs we have been using live into a studio arrangement and sought to learn to play in a new environment. As the week progressed however the early struggles were rewarded with some amazing results. We made changes, wrote and rewrote parts of songs, and created new instrumental and vocal parts. The sounds we are hearing back in the early rough mixes are fantastic. This week we are back for a few days of editing and adding additional tracks to the mix.

SUNDAY @ DOGWOOD CHURCH

On Saturday we drove down to Tyrone, GA, just south of Atlanta in anticipation of leading worship Sunday morning at Dogwood Church. It was a relaxing weekend away from the studio and watching the Patriots destroy the Denver Broncos. Sunday at Dogwood was so much fun. John Phillips and the Tech Team were awesome. Pastor Michael Ray who helped us with service planning was so kind and welcoming. The leadership and preaching of Senior Pastor Keith Moore was refreshing and rich.

A special thanks to our good friend David Hodge who connected us with his home church. Andy met David a number of years ago when David was the speaker for a conference of Christian Camping Professionals in New England. David now serves as Senior Vice President of Walk Thru the Bible, a fantastic ministry that helps people understand the big picture of God’s living Word. TOUR UPDATE – JAN 7 & 8

This week and next we are recording in Nashville at Sputnik Studios. As part of our travels we had the great joy of making two stops in Virginia on the way south.

GRACE BIBLE CHURCH

Saturday night (January 7) we were hosted by Grace Bible Church in Midlothian, VA. This was one of the most gracious churches we have ever had the joy of leading. A special thanks to the Sheridans & Dunns who helped bring us to Grace Bible, to David who was a servant-hearted sound man, Brian who helped us with planning Sunday morning, and to the Wrobel family who overwhelmed us with hospitality and an amazing breakfast. We were also able to stay for Sunday morning and enjoy the fantastic preaching of Pastor Rich Ryan. He is a phenomenal preacher. We truly hope to return to spend more time with our new friends at Grace.

WYTHEVILLE

The great debate on our trip was how to pronounce Wytheville. No matter how you say it Wytheville was a blast. Shane Sledd was our host at the historic Wytheville Presbyterian Church on Sunday night (January 8). Emily, Katie, Rick and the whole crew really got the word out as nearly a dozen area churches filled the room. It was fun playing for a completely new audience and we had many great conversations after the concert.

December Update

We had awesome events all over New England these past months. It has been such a blessing to meet and worship with so many great people. Here is a look back and ahead.

On December 2-4 we led worship for Camp Berea‘s Youth Workers Conference with speakers Doug Fields & Duffy Robbins. Nate Parks and his team put on a fantastic conference. How amazing to be a part of glorifying God with a couple hundred youth leaders!

Our First Ever
Christmas Concert

On December 10 in Quincy, MA join us for our first ever Christmas worship concert. We have some awesome new renditions of some classic Christmas songs. It will be a blast! In January we are headed to Nashville to record at Sputnik Studios with Dove and Grammy Award winning producer Mitch Dane. Mitch’s resume includes many bands you have heard including Jars of Clay, Caedmon’s Call, and Bebo Norman.
